Derek started D1 Appliance Repair in order to deliver a superior level of service and expert appliance repair to customers throughout NW Indiana. Through the years, Derek has grown the company to include full-time technicians who are experienced in repairing refrigerators, ovens, stovetops, ranges, dishwashers, freezers, washers, dryers, and even garbage disposals!

Derek is a native of NW Indiana, being born and raised in the Lake County area. He is committed to excellence in his professional, personal, and family life and strives to set a good example for his daughter by building a business the whole family can be proud of.

With over 15 years in the appliance repair industry and a journeyman’s license, Adam is a seasoned professional known for his patience, reliability, and innovative problem-solving skills. Organized and proficient, he ensures top-quality results on every project. Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, listening to music, working out, and following sports.
